THE WRITER
Zanna Vaughan-Davies has studied the Chinese ‘internal’ martial and healing arts for 14
years and worked as a journalist for 8 years. I hope that my knowledge of Chinese boxing
and philosophy will inform this story in an unobtrusive manner, grounding a fantastical
tale and adding depth in a way that hasn’t been seen before in a ‘kung fu’ comic.
THE ARTIST
Santiago Espina is comic book artist based in Argentina who has worked
with Moonstone Comics and is in consideration by Marvel and DC.
ALICE IN WONDERLAND meets CROUCHING TIGER
What begins as a traditional martial arts revenge fable quickly takes the reader ‘down
the rabbit hole’ from a real-world setting into an increasingly limitless universe involving
higher dimensional entities and grotesquely monstrous adversaries, but maintaining the connection to the real martial arts legacy of ancient China.
